This is a very good hotel from location to the bar.

The station is also very close to the hotel which makes it much easier when traveling around Berlin. I was surprised about how big our room was which was great. It was a loft room which gave us so much space. I couldn't have been happier with the service from the hotel employees, they were always ready to help and easily approachable.

I would recommend this hotel when wanting to relax and travel around Berlin.

Amazing value- I think the three of us paid 60 euros each for two nights. We had a triple room. It was clean, convenient, and the bar down stairs was brilliant. In fact we just spent our Friday night there- with live music and cocktails we had a great time. The restaurant served really good food too. Very little choice- meat or fish- but excellently cooked meat or fish. And I think we paid 19 euros each for starts + main meal plus a glass of prosecco each and sharing a bottle of wine. Would stay again. Only criticism would be that it's slightly pot luck with the staff, but were mostly helpful and all friendly.

Room Tip: The music in the bar goes on all night, so worth asking to be second floor or above

My sister and I stayed here for one night. Absolutely fantastic - from the warm-hearted friendly staff (who amazingly remembered our room number when we asked about breakfast the next morning), the dedicated every little detail in the room, the cleanliness to the design and the homey, comfort feeling.

The location was literally opposite the S-Bahn station but if you come out of the U-Bahn station like us, you would face the O2 World on the bridge, look left and walk down. Then 3 minutes down the road, you would see the hotel on the opposite side of the road.

The buffet breakfast was excellent, too, with such a wide variety of choice from pastries, cheese, salmon, muesli, yougurt, foie gras, hams, coffee and tea at just Euro 11!!! I would highly recommend that you book your room with breakfast if you have time in the morning to enjoy it.

I've stayed here a few times now and each stay confirms what I know about this place.

It's excellent.

However, it's not for everyone. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable, up market hotel with snooty staff and expensive furniture, this is not the hotel for you.

If you're looking for a fun, lively, inexpensive and quirky hotel with friendly staff, a great bar with mismatched furniture, free wifi and real character, then this IS the hotel for you.

The rooms are basic, but just enough and each have there own particular style, from the Cosy to the Band, there's a lot of choice. TVs in all the corridors play The Big Lebowski on permanent loop and there is a giant lampshade in the bar made entirely from smutty mags.

The hotel is right next to Warschauerstraase S-Bahn and the M10 streetcar stops there too, so it's really easy to explore the city from the and the East Side Gallery is a two minute walk.

Breakfast is amazing and Wednesday lunchtime they serve a schnitzel that all the local workers queue up to buy.

This is the only hotel you need in a city full of amazing hotels.
