“One of the best burger ever !”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

Let's begin with things you can think are not good: you can wait from 10 to 20 minutes when full of people, the place is very small and there are very few seats outside, always occupied. Inside there is a small counter on which you can eat and drink in a very small space. BUT YOU GO THERE FOR THE BURGERS ! And I can say I eat one of the best cheeseburger ever ! And had a delicious beer (wide range of burgers and beers available) ! So, do not expect a wonderful place, but go for having an heaven tasting.

Also vegan burgers are available.

“Somebody seems to like it”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

This is a tiny burger joint run by hairy punks, which sounds just about perfect, but I was very disappointed. Granted, I ordered the baby burger, which didn't appear to have any semblance to the regular burger, but it was most distasteful. The texture was more like a thick cut of salami, and the drippings on my plate were an unappetizing inky colour. But this place must have something going for it, because there was a steady stream of people coming in for take-out or to squeeze into one of the few places at the rail. I thoroughly enjoyed my Coke.

“No Place”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

No place to sit as it was full of screaming kids. On top of that I was overcharged. Definitely will stay far away in the future!.

the staff was friendly and spoke english, the place is neatly designed and the food was very tasty and in large portions.

“Fun spot, good value, but burgers only okay”
Reviewed July 13, 2012

A small storefront burger joint off Prenzlauer Allee that always has customers queing up. Nice staff behind the counter will help guide non-German speakers. Complaints? There's a clatter of meat on metal when they throw the burgers on the grill- meaning the meat is pre-formed and frozen. Same with the fries... whether wedges or pommes frites, frozen as well. Both burgers and spuds can be dressed up with pickle, onion, American (processed) cheese, but the taste isn't there, and the food is dry. Go fresh on the ground beef and hand cut the potatoes every morning! My sense is the constant line is not due to the quality of the food, but the price, which is extremely reasonable for North America's finest cuisine.
