Came here on recommendation from lady in panorama place next door, had the sauerkraut platter which consists of 2 diff sausages and 2 diff pork pieces, with sauerkraut and potatoes. Had a blanket to keep my legs warm whilst sitting outside. Had menus in english which is always useful!

While on holidays in Berlin we entered there randomly, hurried to have lunch –as we were short of time-, but fearing it would be more like a bar (since it is called The House of the 100 beers). We liked it so much, that we went back 2 more times. Food is good, prices are very reasonable, staff is nice, food comes relatively fast, and they have menus in a lot of languages, so we could not ask as for more. As we already had enough pork Schnitzel and different types of sausages before, we tried something different here: the salmon with Dutch sauce (number 450 in the menu), and a –delicious- warm vegetarian strudel (number 435). We also tried the Berliner Weisse (mixed with raspberry syrup). I cannot assure if the apfelstrudel they have is one of the best, but for sure is not bad, since we had it the three times we were there.

The enticement is the "100 Bieres" sign but a full food service is also available. Unfortunately, the large menu list appears to challenge the kitchen staff and most of the beers are only available from bottles (with a very limited number on tap). Service was very slow and the waiters insisted on ordering all the food and beers by numbers - not generally a good sign. We waited a considerable time for our first beers, even longer for the average food and then had to literally chase the waiters around the restaurant for a second round. Clearly, the place was well under-staffed for the number of tables. Unless you are desperate to access the long beer list I would try somewhere else.

Aka House of 100 Beers, bur they do food as well

As we were in Berlin we wanted to eat German style and this delivers a reasonable range of rustic german food. Nothing fancy, but good value. Although they bill 100 beers a quick view of the UK offerings shows they may not have chosen well. There dark draft beer was excellent, but I didn't like their Berlinner Pils

Our waiter was brusque to say the least. Smiles must have cost extra

I ate at Mommseneck two times in april. Staff is friendly, and the food is rustic german food at a very reasonable price. Casual feel, and quick service. They have a huge 100 brand selection of beer, some on tap, but most botteled. Worth a detour if you are a beer fan.

Nice change from some of the more "stuffier" places close to Potsdamer Platz.

Would visit again.
