Stayed here for 4 nights, the hotel is located centrally and close to many tourist attractions, but the facilities are very basic, no fridge, the air flows through the vent non stop day and night even when the air conditioner is turned off , which produces loud noise. Two out of four days our face washers were not provided. The free breakfast was good with reasonable varieties but stays the same everyday.

Room tip: The garden side and higher floor room is relatively quiet

Just returned from a great 3 night stay with my husband and 10 year old son. Lovely hotel, spotless, nice big 24 hour reception area. Room was a good size - comfy double bed and sofa bed, great pillows! Tea/coffee facilities, hair dryer, iron and board in room. Fab shower although as other reviews state the glass shower door doesnt stop the floor getting soaked!
Breakfast great - we ate around 9am each morning, yes it was busy but there was plenty of fresh food being replenished and tables being cleared and cleaned. It is self service - try the waffle machines - delicious.
Hotel is situated a 5 min walk from Alexanderplatz Ubahn/Sbahn very accessible to the rest of the city/airport.
Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Stayed recently for three nights. All concierge and reception staff are professional, friendly and very helpful. Particular thanks to Vivian who was brilliant :o)

The hotel is large, relatively new and all public areas are spacious, comfortable, well thought out and attractively designed.

The guest rooms are fabulous, well appointed, thoughtfully designed and of a good size. Rooms also have a comfortable sofa (can be used as a sofa bed) and desk etc. The bathroom was beautifully clean and tiled with the best shower we have ever had- brilliant water pressure and lots of space. The only minor thing is that the shower screen while aesthetically pleasing, is not overly practical as sometimes water can spray out onto the floor. However with some care you can prevent this from happening too much.

The beds are large, really comfortable, have high quality cotton bedding and the mattresses are firm and excellent. Pillows great. We slept very well.

Breakast is served 6am to 10am weekdays and 6am to 11am on the weekend. We prefer to eat later, than earlier so usually went down after 9.15am. It was busy but not horribly so, plus there is plenty of space and areas to find a nice table to sit down to eat. We didn't have to queue for anything at any point and found staff pleasant.

The food and drinks available are fabulous. Orange juice, apple juice, milk, various coffees and teas (including many herbal options), various cold meats and cheeses, cucumber, fresh tomato, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurts, muesli (of all kinds) and other cereals, rolls, various breads and several options of hot food (mini sausages, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, baked beans, vegetables). The breakfast offer is exceptional value considering it's quality and choice, plus it is included in the room rate.

Currently there is a fair amount of construction work (and on occasion associated noise which is understandable) happening outside the front of the hotel (our room was at the front on the 1st floor, so we were right over it) but closing the window blocks it out.

Couple of things to highlight:

Due to construction work outside, the hotel entrance is not well signposted so it is difficult at first to know where to go- a sign would be handy for new guests.

The hotel has tea/coffee making facilities in the room which is great (and these are not always available in other hotels). However, considering the caliber of the Hampton (Hilton), it would be appropriate to ask housekeeping to leave more than two regular tea bags, two coffees, two decaff coffees etc in the rooms. If there are two of you in a room, you will only have one tea, one coffee each, especially if you don't usually drink decaff coffee or herbal teas. Also four milks and sugars is not enough and will only mean that guests will have to ask at reception for more. So best to be a little more generous in this regard.

We asked for an early check-in as we hadn't slept for 24 hours prior to our arrival and this was arranged. We also requested a later check-out and this was also made available to us no problem, which we appreciated very much- thank you.

To conclude, a wonderful, highly recommended hotel in an excellent location.

Room tip: Rooms high up will have the better views of the city.

Room was very quiet, despite location not far from busy Alexanderplatz. Bed was quite comfortable, and breakfast was satisfying, with different food options available. Only downside (minor) was access to front of hotel was affected slightly by construction. Would totally recommend.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel in Berlin as a gift to him from me for his 30th birthday. There is absolutely no way I can fault the hotel; the staff are so lovely (especially Vivian) and cannot do enough for you (they really made a fuss over my boyfriend for his birthday and even put up decorations in our room which I provided), the breakfast was great and had a lot of choice and the hotel itself is amazing, modern and clean. In terms of location there's a tram stop outside which is perfect for getting around the city and the infamous Hofbräu House is less than a 5 minute walk away which is where we spent most of our evenings.
All in all we loved our stay at this hotel and are already planning our return for Christmas time this year. The cost of a stay can be a little pricey at certain points of the year but it is well worth it for the luxury and service you receive there.
