Great location right next to Oranienburger Tor subway station and loads of restaurants nearby (including the wonderful Boulevard Friedrichstrasse; go out the main door and turn left at Friedrichstrasse). Short walk to Unter den Linden, the Deutsches Historisches Museum and Museum Island. The room was very clean, comfortable and well appointed, as well as quite modern. Great curtains kept the room dark. Very friendly front desk staff. Bring earplugs for the rooms at the front as the street is close but that's hard to avoid with such a central location and it's not a big problem. Ignore the 17 euro breakfast though, that's a rip off and it's not even in the same building. Try a cafe nearby instead, there are loads to choose from.

Room Tip: Ask for a room higher up or away from the street side to avoid noise at night, or brinbg ear plugs. As mentioned though, this was not a serious problem.

We stayed here on 24-26th Dec! Hotel was very easy to find from the station, it's very centrally located and within walking distance to the underground station! One of the best locations in Berlin! The room was average size ! Good size bathroom! Most beds are 2 singles pushed together you have to especially ask for a queen size bed to get one mattress! Room was clean, bathroom was clean! Staff were polite! The bar is also very nice with some amazing cocktails ( David was a great bartender ) sadly he's leaving! We didn't have food at the hotel but menu looked good! Well worth a visit ! If you visiting in December you will be very close to many Christmas markets!! We would stay here again if we were back in Berlin!

This location is one of the centralest hotel of Berlin with his historical attractions , Don's Kümsterlerhaus Opera, ,Museum, Unter den Linden Brandenburger Tor and so on .The hotel is clean , good well stuffed rooms , some paints neccessary. the fitness , gym, missed some weights more attractions. 20 euro breakfast , hm normal but to expensive, around the area are a lot of breakfast possibilities . you are direct near (Innenminsterium - ministry of interior) , well secure ..

Room Tip: all rooms are okay, not so much traffic noise around , morning in the evening perhaps. back front a in direction of small park , could be quieter

The hotel gets five stars based on its extremely convenient location, that really made our holiday. It manages to be within walking distance from all major sights, from reichstag to hackesche hofe, from checkpoint c to the museums. We did not even use any transport for a couple of days. Other than that, it is clean, with large rooms and bathrooms, warm and quiet, and with free wi fi. Prices are very good, if you avoid, as we did, the breakfast which came ( for 2) at 50% of the price of the room!

We have just spent three nights in this hotel in Berlin, our first visit to the city. The hotel is in an excellent location with one of the Christmas markets across the road and others very near. It struck us as a much nicer location than the areas near Potsdamer Platz. There is a building site directly opposite at the moment which isn't pretty but didn't disturb us at all thanks to the excellent double glazing. Rooms are impeccably clean, showers are good and the staff are friendly and efficient. We didn't eat in the hotel but the menu looked interesting and we have heard that it is good. The museum island is on the doorstep and there is a lovely view of the Berliner Dom. I would recommend the hotel without hesitation and since we felt that we had barely scratched the surface of Berlin, I am sure we will be staying again.
