Visited the 12 apostel for lunch and had what makes the place famous - the Pizzas. The size of them seems to be of the OMG variety. But don't be too scared, the crust is thin and light and the dough thin too. So that large Pizza is a lot more manageable than it seems. The restaurant itself is big and has a cafeteria atmosphere, despite of the paintings on the ceiling. Definitely not a place for a romantic evening. The service is ok, sufficiently quick and efficient.
The Pizzas are nice and a real bargain for lunch (EUR 6.95 for any of them), though not outstanding. So when you are in the area and feel like having a good Pizza, 12 Apostel is a good choice. But when you are not and are looking for a great restaurant, don't bother.
