Had dinner in this restaurant on a miserable, rainy Berlin night. By every measure - food quality, service, ambience, etc. - it was outstanding. The service in particular was memorable - our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, was endlessly pleasant and had the rare knack of approaching out table at the right moment. Best meal in ten days in Germany. It's bit out of the way, but it is certainly vaut le voyage.

This place is amazing. We had no idea what to expect. I'm so glad we made the taxi journey there, it was WELL worth it.

The staff were brilliant, kind, knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and not at all stuffy.

We went with the 5 course tasting menu with wine. It was I think €77 each for the food and €44 for the wine. Not cheap but definitely worth the splurge.

The food was incredible. Really good. Clean, fresh, tasty, nice portions.

The wines were lovely, and our waitress gave us a brief description/history of each. Really good fun.

When I'm next in Berlin I will be eating here for sure. The food is the best I had in Berlin.. BY FAR.

I was there with a group of 20 people, we had a seperate room. The restaurant is not centrally loacated, we took a taxi. We had the four course dinner and in short - it was perfect. I am not likely to forget the venison fillet with three types of carrots! or the lobster confit with deep-fried blood sausage. Service was very professional and very friendly.

Charming " wine cellar" ambiance, warm welcoming service and great food made this our favorite in Berlin. We highly recommend the veal cheeks which are difficult to find in the U.S. and perfectly done here. While some top ranked restaurants can be "stuffy," this one has the feel of a friendly neighborhood haunt. We thought wines by the glass, to go with each course, were quite reasonable. If you're a foodie, this is your home in Berlin.

This was a great way to kick off our Berlin vacation. Great food, cozy atmosphere, attentive service. Definitely try the tasting menu, you won't be disappointed. Good value when compared to similar restaurants in NY. Don't have a single negative thing to say about this place.
