had a very good meal tonight outside. friendly and attentive service, excellently prepared and interesting dishes. was a bit weird when two women, (approved by the restaurant?) came around and offered neck massages.....wasn't sure what else they were offering....and no one seemed to be taking them up on it....anyway, a good meal with a creative menu.

They can be found in most major Cities ! Nu's service is rushed and impatiently arrogant,, food consistently good BUT what else is new? For similar price, specially in Berlin, one can get more exciting, mouth watering delicacies and especially in this restaurant spiked area.

Be aware of the good rating at TripAdvisor. We had booked a table for two persons and travelled to the restaurant from Alexanderplatz. When we arrived at the restaurant, the waitress didn't seem very friendly, he asked if the table outside was okay for us. We agreed to take the table outside - to find out that every one around us were smoking. We went back inside to ask the waitress if we could get a table inside. He said that we couldn't get a table just for two of us - we would have to sit in a big table with other people. We weren't too happy because we had planned for a romantic meal - just for the two of us. There seemed to be free tables for two persons - we were wondering why we couldn't sit there.

We ordered Geng Phet gai - which was okay. Laab gai, which was advertised as a chicken salad in the menu, wasn't exactly what I had expected. It wasn't really a salad at all, it had like three slices of cucumber and a few lettuce pieces. Mainly it was just tiny bits of chicken in a very spice stock...

When we had finished our meal, we ordered one moscow mule drink. We waited for like 15 to 20 minutes. Then the waitress came and asked if I had gotten the drink. After that it lasted like 10 minutes to get the drink - at least the waitress apologized for the waiting time. Later we ordered one sake drink, it seemed to last quite long to get it too.

Finally we asked for the check - at least it came quickly. All in all, if you are staying near the restaurant, it might be worth visiting. Do not bother to travel from other parts of the city.

After spending a week in Paris, I was in need of a lighter, spicier meal. Nu was just the answer. Others have written about the prawns - with just two of us we opted not to order, but we were the minority. We stuck to more traditional Thai and Vietnamese dishes and loved them all. We were seated at a communal table and the ladies next to us ordered the Hong Kong burger - boy did it look delicious. Dishes came out fast after ordering, but overall service was slow, but Spain and France were playing in the Euro Cup which they were showing in the restaurant and the place was packed, so it was probably a bit of anomaly. Still give it a five star rating.
