“nice ambiente, good food”
Reviewed March 6, 2013

I went here in February 2013 after having seen it was closeby and rated quite good. I had the Elk dish, which was delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and warm. It's probably somewhat upscale in price, but worth it.

“How do you say smiling in Norwegian?”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

Downtempo, unusual flavors and a white fish (can't remember the name) to really die for. A bit more smiling service wouldn't have hurt, but I came there to eat, not admire, so f- it. Avoid the special aperitive liquor with berries in it, that's just too bitter.

“Enjoyable evening”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

We were 11 friends having dinner here between christmas and New Year, Germans, norwegians and greeks. Everybody enjoyed their dinner and we did try different plates. Salomon was very good and plenty, the elk dish was very tender and also had the cranberrries next to it. Missed the Brussels sprouts. The meatballs with potatoes and sauce appealed our young one.
A very nice dinner and will not hesitate to recommend it.
The only thing to disagreee with was the swedish beer, should have been norwegian.

“Norwegian Food & Fun”
Reviewed September 12, 2012

Everything about Munchs Hus is excellent, with sole exception of the price of the bottled Norwegian spring water, which is hard to swallow. The menu is a mix of traditional Norwegian dishes and some innovative re-inventions - so plenty of salmon and (elk) venison. I had the elkblood aperitif a strong combination of vodka and berry juice followed by gravlax type starter and a varied fish skewer with a light dill cream sauce and rice and a cold berry desert. This was from the set menu of the day at 19 Euro which is astonishing value in Berlin. The service is charming, friendly and helpful. The crowd is at the younger end of the spectrum, 25-30 and the place is fairly buzzing - unlike many of its counterparts in Oslo. A great night out!
Parking nearby is easy but the U-bahn is a 10 gloomy minute walk away - take a cab!

“Just Delicious”
Reviewed May 28, 2012

What a pleasant restaurant in Berlin. I visited it quite often and tried many different dishes from the menu, all were very tasty, I was never disappointed. The service is excellent, as well.

There is just one thing I don't like: A few times it was very cold outside when we visited, and it was very cold inside, too. May be it's just me who needs lots of heat (I live in Thailand), but bring some warm clothes, just in case.
