We decided to eat here because we needed to eat at a restaurant that accepted cards. We asked if cards were accepted and the waiter said they were and was keen to hurry and sit us down, so we decided to eat there.
The food was fine and service fine - that is, until my husband asked him for the bill so we could pay. When he brought the bill over, we handed him the card and he suddenly snapped at us and said something along the lines of how we asked for the bill but didn't tell him we were paying by card, (however we did ask on arrival if they accepted cards - wouldn't that be clue enough, anyway?), and said this very angrily, and he stomped away to get the card machine. We felt very, very uncomfortable after this. He came back and did NOT say a word to us - he barely looked at us. We made the transaction and he didn't say anything and walked away. Not a single word said. Nothing.
I have never had such a bizarre experience in a restaurant. How his mood changed so drastically over NOTHING was crazy. It really reflected poorly on this restaurant and we will never, ever return again. Unbelievable reaction and completely strange and weird. We would have never eaten here had we had any idea it would turn out the way it did. It's outrageous to be that way to a paying customer, over literally nothing. I wish we had never gone. They got our money and all we got was an awkward and terrible end to our evening. Gee, thanks.
