The Baroque armory houses the Mainfränkisches Museum. Outstanding collection of Franconian art, among others the world-famous sculptures by Tilman Riemenschneider, pre-historic collection, testimonials of the Franconian wine culture, folklore section. Amongst the treasures: 1340/50 the Holy Trinity from the Würzburg Bürgerspital, 1550 Tomb of Eberhard von Ehingen, 1746 Epitaph for Friedrich Karl von Schönborn, many paintings (for example portrait of Balthasar Neumann, a 1750 sketch for the ceiling fresco in the Imperial Hall of the Wuerzburg Residenz by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo), sculputures and statues (16th century: Mary with Child, St. Sebastian, 1491/93Adam and Eve from the main market entrance to Mary's Chapel in Würzburg), Jewellery from the Bronze Age, a tank wagon made of bronze 1000 BC, 1586-1630 Treasure TroveWürzburg and Nuremberg Goldsmiths, etc.
