Take the tour. You are shown the most amazing rooms! In my opinion, better than Versailles or the Green Vault. It's just your group in each room so you get too ogle all you want. Definitely a must do tour

Don’t miss this on your visit to Wurzburg. Stunning building beautifully presented and restored, especially given what we the Allies did to Wurzburg only 3 weeks before the end of the Second World War. Best value for The 5 euros you will spend to get to seethe Bulding and the fabulous garden.

A large and imposing building in the city. We visited at lunchtime to avoid large tour groups and 15 euro for two adults was excellent value. The Tieplo ceilings are rightly famous and worth the price alone. Spend time going around the rooms much to admire in art and furnishings. The gardens are excellent and highly recommend the cafe restaurant.

This is NOT TO BE MISSED. The beauty and grandeur of this palace is of the highest to be found. Certainly equal to Versailles or Shoenbrun (Vienna) in my opinion. The tour is rather limited, however to just a few of the best rooms and of course the grand staircase. Pretty garden in the back. This is the best (and just about the only) major attraction in Wurzburg aside from a couple of churches and the Rathaus.
