The palace is great. The Mirror Room (the "Wow" Room or "OMG" Room) itself worth a trip. There are just 2 English tours per day. The tour guide was knowledgeable and witty. The park surroundings are very beautiful as well.

We did the guided tour in English, there are 2 daily and it's worth it, as the tour takes you to parts of the Residenz that you can't visit if you are just having a look round by yourself. Several people were turned away as they tried to follow us through a door that the guide unlocked for tour groups only. Very opulent and lavish with incredible ceiling paintings and symbolism.
We had a guided tour through the Residenzplatz and I would recommend that you do, as we were told that you won’t see so much if you go through independently. The Prince Archbishops definitely created a spectacular place, the opulence of the fixtures and fittings are quite incredible definitely worth visiting.
The Residenz is such a beautiful palace to visit and walk around. I was very impressed with the beauty of the garden behind the main building. It was full of flowers buzzing with bees.
A spectacular example of a rogue architecture. The tour was amazing showing just a few of the many gorgeous rooms. The ceiling in the main hall is worth the trip alone. Highly recommend stopping by this beautiful residence.
We stopped here briefly while riding the Romantic Road bus. We had time to admire the exterior of the building, which is quite impressive, and to walk the grounds. The garden is beautiful, with a large section of red roses, along with other colorful flowering shrubs and many interesting features that hide the wall at the far end of the gardens.
