We spent three days in Rothenburg-ob-der-Tauber and we had read about this restaurant on TripAdvisor, so we went there and had a wonderful experience! The name "Zur Höll" in German means "To Hell", and the first thing we heard when we got there was "Welcome to hell!" Despite the pun, we felt it was a really welcoming place, with wonderful food, great service and a thrilling atmosphere. Both of us followed the recommendation of the waiter, who was really nice, and had the veal with wild mushroom sauce and dumplings, which were absolutely fantastic, with white wine produced in the area. The dessert was also superb! As the 'Night Watchman' said, if they tell you to 'go to Hell' in Rothenburg, it is a very good recommendation! We loved Rothenburg-ob-der-Tauber and 'Zur Höll' was definitely one of the reasons why we want to come back some day!
