We originally found Glocke in December 2006 while visiting Rothenburg. However, we could not remember the name. We walked all of Rothenburg until we again located it. We went on Sunday night to find it was closed for their ruhetag (quiet day). We went back on Monday and had a fabulous meal. My fiancee had the pork filets with mushroom cream sauce and spatzle and I ate a typical veal schnitzel. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Rothenburg. The thing to remember in Germany for all gasthaus' is there is no rush to get you out the door. You can sit as long as you wish and will only get the bill when you ask for it. A great dining experience.
