I spent one night here recently.
While the location is great, the hotel itself needs updating. The entrance area looks great, full of charm, but the room i was given was lacking any charm and not up to modern standards. There was no shower and the whole room had a sloping roof meaning I banged my head a few times. The decor was very 80s.
The breakfast was great, although quite expensive.

Dear Dimmie, thank you for your review. It´s nice to hear that you liked the entrance area and its charm. That you don´t have the same feeling in your room is a pity. All our 78 rooms are differently arranged. If you don´t like your room just let the reception staff know and we will try our best to change your room. I´m pretty sure we have the perfect room for you! Our breakfast buffet has a wide range of delicacies and cost 14€ per person. It´s good to hear that you enjoyed the breakfast. I hope you will come back soon!

This hotel is wonderful. The location is perfect right next to the center of town. The hotel is an old mansion owned by a wealthy family back in the day and you can just feel the history as soon as you walk in. Impeccably decorated and taken care of and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Great stay, would definitely recommend!

This not being the first time to Rothenburg, we decided on staying here because of the great reviews. We weren't disappointed. The hotel is located right in the middle of the village. Since parking is hard to find there, having a larger vehicle made it a little harder. The hotel offers their own covered parking for 12 Euro a day. They will park the car and bring the car to you when you are ready to leave. The staff was very nice and attentive during the whole stay. The hotel rooms were very clean and a good size. Bathrooms were very clean and had all the amenities needed for the stay. There is a piano bar, and a couple of sitting areas for dining. The restaurant was very good and romantic. It was moderately high in price but well worth it. I would recommend the Hotel Eisenhut for a romantic getaway.

Our stay at Eisenhut was pleasant-however could have been better. Our check in was not immediate as we had arrived before the check in time.We had to wait for about and hour before check in.Our stay was in the opposite building of the main Eisenhut hotel. The building where we were housed did not have any reception area.Nor did they have any tea maker in the room.
All hotels during christmas time gave chocolates to kids during our stay in Germany-Eisenhut did not do the same.
The one night booking at EISENHUT didnt have the breakfast so we had to pay for the same.I thought the one night price was too steep.
The breakfast was delicious. The best past of our stay at Rothen burg was the Night watchman tour. The start and end of the tour was right at the main square which is very close to the hotel.Apart from the location-Eisenhut is a very pricey hotel and apart from the location i could not see any plus points to this hotel.

Dear bijalkadam, thank you for your review. Our check-in time starts at 2 p.m.. If you arrive before 2 p.m. you can always leave your luggage in our luggage room. If we have rooms available before we always enable our guest to go to their rooms. But that is not always possible because the guest from the day before can stay in the room until 11 a.m.. Our hotel are former Patrician houses dated back to the 15th & 16th century. So we have different houses. In the main house you will find our reception staff which is 24 hours available for you. It´s good to hear that you enjoyed the night watchman tour. I hope you had a great time in Rothenburg. Maybe we see us again!
