Once again, we used TA to help choose a restaurant, and once again we scored a fantastic meal. The place was full when we arrived, however the large "local's" table had a corner available and we were invited to sit down. I'm glad we did because the meal was fabulous, my wife had the turkey cutlet w/potatoes, the cutlet was breaded in mustard and horseradish and was awesome. I opted for Schweinbraten in onions with cheese spatzle...out of this world...if you are looking for authentic German cuisine, look no further. The menu is in only in German, however Gabor, the server is happy to translate and make suggestions...go for it!

We were in Fussen for 2 nights and went back both evenings. The atmosphere was just lovely-small and quaint. The service was good with dishes being explained - but the food was the highlight. Wonderfully prepared local specialties made both dining experiences memorable. Would recommend this place.

The Interiors of the Restaurant is very different from all what I have seen before, but if you (as I) like an old style restaurant full of antiquities and old plush you will immediately feel like home. Unfortunately is this the only highlight of the restaurant. The staff was unprofessional, unfriendly and disinterested, the food not very expensive but also not more than average. A very nice place that would be very interesting if the owner would employ some professional staff.

A beautiful little restaurant with good ambience, good food and very helpful staff. The restaurant is typical of the Victorian era, lovely old lamps hanging from the ceiling, old pictures and photographs on the walls, gorgeous old furniture
We had a great time and sat on a large table meant for 4 people. When a young couple arrived to eat there wasn't a table for 2 and we were asked if we minded if they shared our table with us. This they did and we all ended up having a wonderful time!
Do have dinner here you won't regret it! And if asked if you wouldn't mind sharing a table with others then do so! You never know who you'll meet and people are all so interesting. Just like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're going get :o)
Enjoy!

We asked a local person who we trusted to tell us the best place to eat and god was she so right. The service was excellent, the ambiance perfect and the food Devine. The place was full of local people who told me that they would only eat there. You have to check it out
