First of all we had a very good meal for a reasonable price, twice on seperate evenings in the same week. The reastaurant has a very nice atmosphere with good plain designed furniture and pleasant music. Many details was taken care of: different candlesticks on both evenings and even a disign steel triangle covering the flush tap in the lavatory arejust two examples, Very polite, helpful and good service. If you read at the door "open until 01:00" it even means that you can have your meal even a little later in the evening.
When I return to Füssen, I will surely return here for a pleasant stay and a goor meal

The night was cold and quiet. This place seemed perfect to have a drink and reinvigorate myself with a good bavarian bier. It is a confortable place to hang around at night. It seems to be one of the few places that are open till late in Füssen.

I recommend it to all the Füssen tourists that might get somewhat lost in those deserted streets.

This place was incredible. The decor was nice and cozy, in fact it may have been a bit hot. They have an open kitchen so you can sort of see the cooks make your meal. We found out about this place because they had a gluhwein stand out on the main street one day (we were there during Christmas time) and they had fliers advertising. The staff was extremely friendly, spoke English but humored us as we tried to order in German. They also have a self-serve beer tap, though we did not partake in that since we were not sure how it worked. I had the Alpenschnitzel and the wife had kasespaetzle. Both were very, very good. The beer was also very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It is a bit off the beaten path but well worth it.

If your looking for good foor in Fussen when sight seeing go to this restaunt cafe. It is clean, warm and in the middle of town across the road from the monastery. Their english was ok, as 4 Aussies sitting ordering lunch could not speak Greman. Their toilets are clean. Food was lovely and they had spiced wine on the wood heater.

Stopped by while walking the town and sat initially at the outdoor cafe of this place due to it's situation at the beautiful entrance of the Rathaus and the view of a spectacularly-painted Bavarian-style church. When it got colder at nightfall, I moved indoors to a table and was very pleasantly surprised at the interior - wouldn't want to have missed it - all warm golden light and VERY chic design. The walls were lined with huge, flat slabs of stone cut in the shapes of the alps, which gave the place not only a sophisticated feel, but a natural one as well. The staff were helpful and pleasant, the place was almost filled and the diners seemed to be a comfortable mixture of travelers and locals. Oh, and I should mention.....my first pork knuckle dinner was excellent!
