Stopped by while walking the town and sat initially at the outdoor cafe of this place due to it's situation at the beautiful entrance of the Rathaus and the view of a spectacularly-painted Bavarian-style church. When it got colder at nightfall, I moved indoors to a table and was very pleasantly surprised at the interior - wouldn't want to have missed it - all warm golden light and VERY chic design. The walls were lined with huge, flat slabs of stone cut in the shapes of the alps, which gave the place not only a sophisticated feel, but a natural one as well. The staff were helpful and pleasant, the place was almost filled and the diners seemed to be a comfortable mixture of travelers and locals. Oh, and I should mention.....my first pork knuckle dinner was excellent!
