“Highlight of my European holiday!”
Reviewed March 6, 2013

This was my favourite restaurant in Europe and so good that I went twice - at the beginning and the end of five weeks holiday.
The food, especially the Kasespatzle, pork knuckle and dumplings were devine!
All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the service was excellent. Nothing was too hard and the children were also looked after very well.
The ambiance was traditional and warm, it felt like being home for dinner! Complete with special Green Tea!
I just wish this restuarant was in Hobart, Tasmania!

“Best bavarian food in Fussen”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

This place is awesome! It is a small restaurant but had really good food and beer. We had the pork knuckle with potato dumpling and the pork schnizle with kasespatzle. Both were amazing. The beer is also very, very good. Check out the Franziskaner abby just down the street to get some history on their famous beer. Staff was very friendly and spoke English very well.

“Great food and friendly owner”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

I had the jaegerschnitzel here which was very good. My meal came out last in the group and he told me they were still out hunting mine down. It came out a couple minutes later which I was fine with. You can sit outside and enjoy the weather if it is nice out. Good bier too.
