Family of two adults, one child stayed in June. The apartment was a 2 minute walk from the train, perfectly central but not noisy. My son was thrilled as soon as he saw the huge bowl of candy at reception! Staff were friendly. We had room 9 which was right at the top, lots of steps up. View was out over rooftops. The kitchen provided washing up liquid, paper towels, salt and pepper - all apartment rentals should have but not all do. Even so it was cleaned daily which was wonderful, and the cleaning staff did a fantastic job, it was spotless. TV is in one of the bedrooms but was a bit fuzzy, no English anyway as seems par for the course in Bavaria. Reception has a big TV and also free tea/coffee. The town is so pretty and we hired bikes from the bike shop and rode to the lake, it was a great stay. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: If you get a top floor room you'll have a bonus daily workout!

Our family of four (incl. 2 teenagers) stayed in the 2-bedroom apartment for three nights, and it was absolutely fantastic. I can't say enough good things about City Apart Hotel: it's right in the town center, the furnishings are modern, updated, and very clean, and the owner was so pleasant! This was our fourth stop in our tour through Germany and Austria, and while German restaurants are yummy indeed, we were so happy to finally have a kitchen for a little bit (it came complete with everything you could need, and there were several grocery stores and bakeries just around the corner). I loved that I could open the dining room window in the morning, and watch the cute walking street below while having my morning tea and breakfast.

It's a five minute walk from the train station (no need to rent a car here; we took the bus to the castles and it was perfectly convenient), and there are nice walking trails just a few minutes away. Like a true small town, everything is closed on Sundays.

We'd return in a heartbeat. If only there would be one of these in every city we visited!

Room Tip: No cookie cutter rooms here--I think they are all different! Charming.

Our family of four rented the apartment (one room with four beds, a master bedroom, and a living area with kitchen & dining table). It was quite spacious. The hotel was in a great location for visiting the shops and restaurants. The parking was just a few blocks over (since this hotel is in the pedestrian area of the town). We stayed her specifically so that we could visit the castles the next day and received a discount on our tickets by showing a voucher we received from the hotel. The front desk person (perhaps the owner?) was VERY helpful both in bringing up the luggage, providing extra towels when the water from the shower got all over the bathroom floor), directions and information on the castle tours and with the parking. I would recommend staying here and would stay here again with my family.

We stayed at this hotel specifically for visiting the castles and we were not disappointed. It is on a lovely pedestrian street with a ton of restaurants and shops and within walking distance of the bus station where the buses pick you up for Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. We stayed in the apartment which sleeps four and it was very clean and perfect for the three of us. What I really liked was that when I made my hotel reservation, the hotel sent me an email with further information regarding parking and check in and that if we check in before going to the castles, we get a discount on admission tickets. Obviously that is very helpful and something I appreciated. The price was fabulous for this location and I found the staff to be extremely helpful and kind. They helped us take our bags up to our room and back down again. The free Wi-Fi was pretty great too. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nicely run hotel. Very clean. Would recommend this hotel, however no elevator. We had no problem though with our luggage. We were offered help by the owner.
