For the Price/night the rooms should be renovated. Doorhandles & bathroom look shabby. They probably feel, they don't have to renovate due to the closeness to the big companies (MAN, KUKA, OSRAM). It is often booked as a business hotel. Standard room Equipment. Very good breakfast.

This is a nice hotel, but it is only 3 stars. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It's in a good location and the breakfast is unbelievable. Very good! I recommend you stay. For two people and breakfast the cost was 91 Euros.

We stayed at this hotel for three weeks and we like it very much. The staff was nice, restaurant was excellent, room was excellent, I liked the game room that include many things for adults and kids it was a relive also I liked the whirlpool too. The location was nice because you gas station, open small supermarket 24/7 also, at the back there is a Turkish restaurant that serve good food with very nice staff.
The only disadvantage is that if you are using public transportation! the nearest tram station is around 10 min walking. If you are planing to stay on this hotel you need book a head of time (4 weeks ahead) otherwise you will find it fully booked.

As a solo, extremely frequent business traveller, I found this hotel exceptional. It's location is a bit outside the city in a mainly industrial-looking area of Augsburg, but don't let that dissuade you, this is a terrific hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming, truly hospitable in their approach to guests. The hotel's facilities are very complete - beginning with free coffee and snacks in the lobby, right beside a lounge with game tables like billiards and table football. The restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings, but there are a few restaurants within walking distance, and in a pinch, a Burger King more or less next door. The rooms are clean, and very well equipped - including air conditioning, which I found very refreshing on an unusually warm October evening. There is a fitness room in the basement with enough equipment to get a decent workout, and a jacuzzi and sauna on the roof terrace - a very nice touch - all available to guests at no charge.

The real delight is the amazing breakfast buffet they put out, and those ever-smiling friendly staff in the restaurant that add nicely to the experience. The variety of food options presented at breakfast was simply breathtaking - from made-to-order omelettes to 8 different kinds of cereal. The whole experience was, quite simply, delightful. If you are going to Augsburg, stay here.

Room Tip: Rooms away from the main road are quieter, and the windows can be opened

Although we did not stay in this hotel due to no availability, we stopped by to ask about surrounding hotels. The front desk clerk was so helpful in finding us a nice room at the Agusta Hotel in Augsburg (a review for that hotel separately). He really went out of his way, not at my request, but just wanted to help. I really appreciate his help and hospitality.

This hotel has the most amazing breakfast buffet I have ever seen. It is huge and of very high quality. Since we only stayed for 4 nights we were nowhere near trying everything.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We got a side room on the 3rd floor and never noticed the traffic noise, the road is nowhere near as busy as some reviews make out. It was very hot so we were grateful for the super-powerful air-con. The room was large and had a large well-appointed bathroom. We got a very good deal on the price through the usual booking sites. There is a Lidl just behind the hotel for water and other supplies.

My only hesitation in booking had been the location, the hotel seemed clearly set up for guests with cars and was a bit out of the centre of town. In fact there is a tram stop 5 minutes walk away, from which it takes 10 minutes to get into the middle, and trams run about every 10 minutes. If you are feeling energetic the hotel has free bike hire for guests. I would certainly stay there again.

Room Tip: 'Comfort' rooms at the back away from the main road can be booked for 10 euros p.n. extra, b...

Travelling through Austria and up into Germany, we were keen to find a nice hotel on the 'Romantic Route'. Searching online, we came across the Quality Hotel which got lots of decent reviews on both Booking.com and Tripadvisor (if its good on both, it tends to be good!). We got a very good deal through B.com which included breakfast for the following evening. However, just after booking the room, we had a problem with our car, which meant that we couldn't make it to Augsburg on the Sunday as planned (we needed to find a garage - and there is nowhere open on a Saturday / Sunday in Austria).

Checking our B.com account, we knew that the that the room we had booked was 'non-refundable / non changeable' and we simply thought that we would lose our 'room rate' as a non show. However, hubby decided to email the hotel and B.com to see if we could move the arrival date to the Monday. Within a very short space of time, the hotel responded to say that this was not an issue and could be done no problem. B.com also responded by e-mail very quickly which was good - there appears to be good links between the hotel and B.com which was good.

Arriving on the Monday, we parked behind the hotel (loads of spaces and the parking seems pretty safe too) and checked in. The young chap on reception spoke very good English (which was good as we don't speak any German) and we were given info about the hotel and we headed up to our room. Opening the door on our 4th floor room, it was very apparent that we had been upgraded to one of the main suites.

The suite was lovely - it had a very nice living area, a huge rooftop balcony and a nice bedroom with adjoining bathroom. Spotlessly clean, airy and fresh.

In fairness, prior to arriving at the hotel, we had had a fairly stressful 48 hours due to an issue with our car and the fact that all garages in Austria are closed on a Saturday and Sunday. As soon as we entered the Quality Hotel, we forgot all about that and started to relax.

Up on the 4th floor is a lovely sitting area with hot tub and sun-loungers too. We didn't use it as we had our own balcony but it looked lovely.

The hotel has decent wifi too that is fairly quick.

We had dinner in the hotel that evening (a turkey dish and a pork dish). Both were very tasty, hot and fresh. The beer on tap was great too!

Breakfast is something else!!!! A lot of people have mentioned it and we were a little concerned that it might not live up to its expectation. Well, what can we say......!! It was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts that we have had on our travels. Loads of choice from a fresh salad bar to cheese and hams to breads to cooked breakfasts. Lots of different juices too! The restaurant area is very chic and cosy and the staff that work there are really nice too (all spoke brilliant English)...they all were friendly and smiled a lot.

Overall, this was a great hotel! As headed....Brilliant Staff, Brilliant Room and Brilliant Hotel!

Thank you Quality Hotel, we really enjoyed out night at your place....It was great!
