This place reminded me of the diner I used to go to with my parents as a small child. The only thing missing was the jukebox in our table.

I have simple tastes in food most of the time. Saw this place close to the Hauptbanhoff in Regensburg on a family holiday to Germany and Austria. The family went to the Pizza and Pasta by the station but I fancied chicken and french fries - one of the more simple dishes to (a) get right but (b) get very wrong. Kullman's delivered a (b).

So, I order grilled chicken and french fries. What comes after 10 mins or so is two brown looking bits of meat with fries. Clearly these have been fried not grilled. I spoke to the excellent waitress who in turn spoke to the chef. After a few words were exchanged between them, she comes back and states that the chef fried the chicken "first" to ensure it was properly cooked. The absence of any tell tale grill like markings suggested the balance of fry versus grill was massively in favour of the frying.

I told the waitress I wanted grilled not fried chicken so would they prepare a fresh one. That was no problem. Back some 10 mins later came two insipid pale but grilled lumps of chicken fresh that tasted disgusting - for Brits, you know that sometimes horrible stale taste you get in some bits of chip shop chicken!! This was foul!! stuff. I called the waitress again and said, enough was enough. They said sorry and that I would not be charged - like I was about to pay anyway for this vile excuse for nutrition.

Maybe the other food is good, but a place that cannot deliver fresh, good tasting grilled chicken and fries (like Nandos or the Outback Steakhouse can) in two attempts does not deserve to thrive as a business - in my view? Avoid at all costs!

Great place. The food was hot, tasty and relatively inexpensive. The menu was quite varied with many traditional German dishes such as Schniztel but also great hamburgers, wings, ribs, etc.
A fun place to eat with great food!

Mediocre burgers...terrbile milkshakes. But then again, what do Germans know about milkshakes?

Here you get the best american burgers, brownies and muffins. They also have original american ice cream. From time to time they have specials like "all you can eat burger" or "all you can eat cutlet".
