What a gem in a perfect location in a charming town. Unfortunately we were only passing through and were only able to stay one night, however, it was a real treat to stay here. They have not missed a beat appointing this suite with only the best of everything including the best sheets, best shower, best bed, best tv, an I-pad, sonos speaker...add in a stunning decor(contemporary mixed with beautiful antique pieces)and a central location and you have all the makings for a very comfortable perfect vacation. Thank you, Domresidenz, for knowing just what weary travelers need. We will be back!!!

Excellent accommodation with a great location. The Inn is right by the Dom and easy walking distance to all the shops, cafes and restaurants in historic Regensburg. Also the managers were very accommodating, easy to talk to-m I had no trouble checking in and out. Very good place for us because while they do not do daily clean up- I always consider that a waste anyways.

Room Tip: All three rooms are good. Slightly quieter higher up.

A lot of thought was put into these apartments. We stayed in Suite 3 and enjoyed the benefit of two bedrooms. The owner has achieved an excellent mix of old and new - antique furniture and modern conveniences. The free wifi & internet is fast. The kitchen is well equipped. The technology touches are excellent: you can adjust the angle of the bed/mattress with a remote control to suit your needs (e.g. if you want to sit up in bed to watch TV). There are large Sony TVs in both bedrooms & Sonos speakers which you can control from the provided iPad, or (if you download the app) from your phone or tablet. You can also join the speakers into a group and enjoy the same music in the entire apartment. Another fine touch is the 6 port USB charger at the bedside table. I must admit, I ordered one of those for myself after I saw how useful it is. No multiple charger mess to charge up your phone, tablet and watch. Domresidenz is centrally located. Driving there was a little tricky as one of the side alleys to get to the Domplatz was closed. But we did find our way eventually. To drop your luggage, you drive up what appears to be a pedestrian only lane way, often crawling with tourists.Turn on your hazard lights and drive slowly and it is fine. You stop in front of the family owned antique shop and there is the owner, helping you right away. One thing that takes a little getting used to is that you have two very high steps to get into your bedrooms (this is because this is in a different section of this old historical building). You might need to duck as well as you descend back down into the kitchen, if you are tall. So not ideal for people with hip problems or if you are wheelchair bound. Access is with key cards and a small elevator is also provided. You can walk everywhere from here. The only thing I'd like to see is some seat cushions for the dining room chairs. Otherwise this place is perfect.

Amazing place. Combination of modern and historical look and equipment is unique. Clean, simple, luxury. Thomas who welcomed us was very pleasant and professional. Wish to have breakfast served in to room for complete enjoyment. The only imperfection was night noise due to location in the center itself, so you have to sleep with closed windows.
