just before going to Passau, somebody advised me to have lunch at Cafe Kowalski. I have been to Passau very often already, but had to Google to find my way to this cafe. But once you see it on a map, it is quite easy to find.
We were there Saturday lunch time and the place was crowded with mainly Young People or Young families. But still enough place and the tables are in a good distance to the other.
The menu was a bit to the mediterranean, with a touch of modern. In Passau most of the Restaurants are serving mostly the real Bavarian Food, a diet quite fat and heavy.
Kowalski is different - Service People were very friendly, meals came fast enough - considering the full Restaurant.
And a real Highlight to a Tourist - there is a terrace facing the river Inn with a breathtaking view. Just go there and enjoy!
Oh and not to Forget! the Prices are really good, especially compared with other restaurants
