We missed spargel season, but were here for yellow mushrooms. We were seated in the garden area on a pleasant early summer night. Our server asked if we spoke German, and when we said not really, she immediately arranged for a server who spoke English. There was an English menu for the general menu, but our server was kind enough to interpret the specials which were only in German. My wife had a special dish that was a turkey filet with yellow mushroom sauce over a bed of spinach pasta. She really liked it. I had a traditional Wiener schnitzel with roasted potatoes that was delicious. With side salads, wine, and cappuccino, the bill including a tip was approx. 50 Euro.
A bargain for quality food, excellent service in a lovely garden. We looked at the inside dining rooms in this historic building. Truly beautifully kept and unique.
