“nice view but not sure it's worth it”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

If you have a lot of time when you're in nürnberg you should go there.
The view is nice , but not much more to do there.
the entrence to the castle courtyard is free of charge , you can go inside to visit the tower (for a fee) but i didn't do it so i can tell you much about it

“Enjoyed the walk”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

nice if you fancy a walk but nothing special - we got in for half price because of re-furb work but glad we did not pay the full price of around 7euro each

“Nice views of the city, castle okay”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

The views of the city are beautiful from the top, and it was nice to walk through the grounds, but we didn't tour the inside. It was a little on the higher side as far as cost was concern - and when we went inside to inquire, the staff was really rude and unhelpful. We ended up leaving right a way and felt very disappointed, as we wanted to learn about the history of the castle and it's relevance to the city. There is NO parking anywhere up top (for locals only) so be prepared to park at bottom and do the 15 minute walk uphill to get to the castle itself. There is a lot of construction going on around the castle as well, and apparently 1/2 the castle is closed off right now. Views were nice, but there wasn't much more to do, and there were no signs, information, directions or anything designed to help out their visitors. Take the free views and skip the rest.

“Didn't have a clue of what to do!!”
Reviewed April 6, 2013

The views are really good, nice walk up. However, not sure if it would be worth paying to visit other rooms. We went and to be fair they reduced the price to account for construction work. But it was just not clear where we could go or what we could do. Worth a walk up not not paying to go in
