Great exhibit and visit to the actual courthouse where some of the nazi prisoners were put on trail for their crimes. Gives a great overview of how, when, where and who was responsible for these Nuremberg Trials. My 13 yr. old loved this. Be aware that actual trials still go on in this courtroom, so you ay not be ble to et in to the actual courtroom.

“A must see for history buffs.”

The museum is well done. The exhibit chronicles the history of the courthouse, and discusses the large number of trials conducted after the war.The courtroom is open.

“Nice museum”
Reviewed January 3, 2014 via mobile

Although located in a bit of the outskirts of Nurembeg, the museum has done a good job of demonstrating the events of Nuremburg trial, the time we went there (Thursday around 5 pm) tge courtroom was open

“not to be missed”
Reviewed December 29, 2013

as advised by others, one should visit on a weekend so you get to see courtroom 600 which is still in use till today. there are two tiny screens in the courtroom which features several video clips and photo slideshows, some of which you would also encounter in the exhibition on the third floor itself.

the exhibition on the third floor covers extensively on the Nuremberg Trials and also on the Tokyo Trials and the precedent the International Military Tribunal has set for the world.

i thought it was useful for the museum to have provided foldable chairs that one could carry around and sit on instead of having to stand throughout the exhibition as the entire audio guide took us about 3.5 hrs to complete. perhaps the museum should consider placing captions for the photographs in English instead of describing them over the audio guide as it would definitely hasten the process of going through the entire exhibition.

overall, a well-thought exhibition worth visiting.

unfortunately, my visit was let down by the museum staff who had inaccurately informed me that the day ticket included a visit to the DB Museum (when it didn't and i found this out as the other colleague had corrected him after we had made the purchase).

“History at its Finest”

This is probably one of the most interesting places I've visited. The court room and museum portion are amazing- sad - but truly amazing. This takes you back in time.
