Our tour visited the Zeppelin Field where in the 1930's the Nazi improved to show off their party rallies. It was a eerie feeling looking at the podium where Hitler stood and seeing the ruins of the viewing stands. The modern day city made it into a motorcycle race track.

I had a very sombre and reflective visit, standing on the podium where Hitler addressed his murderous troops, and tried to imagine what it must have been like to have indoctrinated and manipulated so many people through such an egregious misuse of power.
However, it's good to see that the German people are not denying the truth of past events, as they are soon to pass into history.

The Zepplin fields and now Nuremberg race track is a real must see. When I decided to visit a nearby museum and rally ground, I decided to take a walk around the park to come here. So glad I did as this place just feels historic. Even with some parts demolished and the missing Swastika form the top of the building you can still feel this place would have been intimidating to any outsider. To be able to walk the same steps and look out onto the fields where a zepplin once landed. Now it's still busy with (when I was there) people getting ready a race track and people just sitting in the sun looking at this historic building.

For anyone interested in World War II history, this is a must see. To stand where the famous Nazi rallies were held is chilling. Also be sure to visit the nearby Documentation Center. It is one of the best we’ve seen in Germany.
