We've stayed there during a Show in Nürnberg, its really next to the Messe, about 2km.

From the Outside, the Hotel is not looking good, but the Interior makes a WOW effect! You definitely see that this is Top Hotel, and this is also how you are treated.

To the City, it's only a short Taxi Trip. Rooms are really huge for Germany, however Bathroom is really tiny as always. But it's completely refurbished and yes, we will definitely stay there again when in Nürnberg!

We had some drinks at the Bar and the Breakfast. Everything was just fine!

Was a bit distant from the citynwhich initially I thought wasn't going to be good. But on exploring the adjacent parklands discovered a treasure trove of entertainment and sites. Huge lakes with paddle boats and historical sites such as the Zeppelinfeld. Only 10 minutes by taxi to the city so turned out much better than expected. Rooms sizable and well appointed. Staff friendly and helpful.

Arriiving by hire car had no trouble finding the hotel. There was plenty of parking either paid close by or free a short walk. Fuel close by too. A very quiet hotel set back from the main road. Left the car and walked to the metro station to take train into centr of the city. Well worth it.
We had only one evening meal there and it was excellent.
The staff were very helpful

This hotel was a wonderful choice! It is out of the main town and there are signs pointing the way to the hotel (for which we were thankful!). The room that we had was a quiet room partly facing the park and partly facing the back of the hotel. The room was adequate and things were clean.
The bathroom had a bath tub as well as a shower and space enough to put toiletries.
We had dinner in the hotel that night and it was really nice.
The breakfast the next morning was good. There were the usual cold buffet items as well as a place to order cooked items.
Beware on checkout that they don’t charge you twice – it almost happened to us as they had neglected to take into account the payment coupon that had been presented at checkin and tried to charge us for it again. It was corrected. They also charge a fee to park the car in the parking lot just outside the hotel.

I have stayed their for five days with my colleagues. We came there first time in Germany for business purpose and found this hotel very near to Nuremberg Messe center and with good service with affordable price. The staff is polite and helpful. Only some time we have addressed some language problem understanding with some staff. There is quick and efficient service. We must recommend to stay this hotel once more.

The Mercure Nuremberg an der Messe is located in the park near to the Messe/fair and the the former „Reichsparteitagsgelände“. The Dokumentationszentrum is a 15 min walk through the park away.
Parking is available (fee), net public transport is U-Bahnlinie 1 stop Bauernfeindstrasse (subway) with services to the main station (10 min) and to the airport (25 min, change at main station). Unfortunately, the walk to stop Bauernfeindstrasse is 10 min (to fair 15min) at the sidewalk of an often congested highway with the park on the other side. So maybe not the best bet in the dark. There is a gas station right in front of hotel, offering the “mini-bar-service” the hotel rooms lacks of. However, there are vending machines in the hotel floors.

The rooms have been renewed, offering nice 70 style furniture, flat-TV and compfy, not too soft, beds. Wi-Fi is available at 9€/ 24hours. Rooms to the back are very quite, didn’t test the front one. But the street is a hundred meters away, so they shouldn’t be noisy either.
Didn’t’ have breakfast.
