Having been damaged during bombings in World War II, the church has undergone major restoration. The pictorial history of the renovations is very interesting. It is clear the the Nürnberger love this church building. It was decorated with loving care at Christmas time.

Really a place to feel in the middle ages, though it was rebuilt after the war. Walk around and you will understand this feeling and if you can listen to the organ, better still!

Nice visit. The 'fee' to walk through the church is only 1 euro, and it was interesting to see the progression of re-building the church after the devastation from the war.

This church is definitely worth a visit. It suffered major damage during WWII. There are photos that show the extent of damage. The reconstruction to date is amazing, a great job.
