There are two churches off of the main square in Old Town. Visit this one. It is archetecturally more interesting and better decorated inside. Their Madonna With Child actually looks like the Madonna likes the kid, and the Child looks like a normal happy baby.

This is one of a number of churches in Nuremberg. It was light and very welcoming. There were two places where you can purchase a tea light to remember a loved one. One was wall mounted and the other was in a corner and had sand covering the floor enabling you to write a name or put a footprint alongside your tea light, a lovely idea.
It is well worth a look inside to see the stained glass rose window and the architecture.

This is one of the oldest Protestant churches in Germany. It is very dark inside and hard to make out the furnishings. They have a beautiful cache set up and you can light a candle for €.50 to remember your loved ones at Christmastime. it is in the middle if the Christmas MArket.

This church has some nice paintings and sculptures. It is a quiet place away from the outside noise. I was not long here... maybe 15 minutes. Some people may need longer.

Sunday morning at 9:50 it begins, and depending upon the song of the day it may start with a single bell tone or a chromed of bells. Soon ringing over the city is a song to call to worship, a song of joy. It is worthy of a few minutes of reflection.

The church is a wonderful example of old world architecture, from the spires above the bell towers to the town plaza it resides in. If you can see it both in daylight and at night very dramatic.

Restoration and historic with beautiful stained glass.

I know what I am suggesting, visit this site twice, you will see and experience something different each time.
