“Historic”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

Important, historic interesting, different but ultimately not as vast as many of the great churches of its day. Made an interesting distraction.

“Amazing!”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

The church was very large with so much detail inside and out. The stained glass windows, staircase and pillars were very beautiful.

A truly beautiful church with wonderful stained glass and a fabulous nave with a group sculpture of the Annunciation and an impressive crucifix.

“Riemenschneider”

one of the most impressive sculptures to me. The quiteness of this church is not easy to be gained due to the heaps of visitors, but it`s worthwile waiting.

“worth an honest walk-about”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

we ducked in here as i always love visiting these magnificent houses of God from the days of grandeur. though bombed out in WW2, the building has been and is still in the process of rebuilding. lovely stained glass--some new, some restored. when one views the "before & after" photos, the restoration process is amazing. plaques in german and english enhance understanding.
