The city of Nuremberg and the Frauenkirche were all rebuilt after the War. The architecture is impressive and of clear pride. However this site is not a must visit. The show at 12 is quaint but not worth going to see specifically

The Frauenkirche is the least important of the three major churches in the old town. Both the Lorenzkirche and the St. Sebald have much more to interest the traveler. Still, the church is attractive, and it has some nice stained glass, and Catholics may feel obliged to enter it, the more important churches in Nuernberg being in the possession of the Lutherans.

What a beautiful church, the facade is breath taking. I love gargoyles and the goes on the facade are beautiful. The inside is absolutely beautiful amazing history, a definite must go.

Located right on the central market square, this church is an easy visit with some lovely stained glass windows. On a very cold, rainy day in July it also provided a place of refuge, warmth and peace to sit quietly for a few moments.
At its front door are the open air stalls, selling lots of.fresh fruit, vegetables and gingerbread (definitely different from that in the U.S.!).
At noon, after the bells toll the hour, the figure of Charles IV watches animated courtiers rotate before him. It's a brief but entertaining show if in the area.

Our first exposure to a glockenspiel. That's fun! It's on the main square and was full of activity when we were there on a Saturday.
