“Gorgeous church near a beautiful square”
Reviewed May 2, 2014

The Frauenkirche is a lovely church near the old city's town square. The church is beautifully ornate with a lovely clock. The Schoener Brunnen fountain located near the church is also another beautiful attraction. There are two brass rings which are supposed to bring goo luck to those who spin them with one hand. The easter market opposite the church is also a fantastic place to eat and shop. A nice place to spend a free evening.

“Beautiful church and square!”
Reviewed March 12, 2014

Nuremberg is a beautiful city to walk around and most of that can be started from the church and square. Beautiful building and worth waiting around for the stroke of the hour and a little chiming show!

A gorgeous church in the middle of Altstadt! We loved the color and structure of the church..very ornate and detailed - gorgeous! It is situated in front of the famous Der Schoene Brunnen Fountain which is also quite marvelous!

“Beautiful”
Reviewed January 19, 2014

Beautiful Church front. At the top you will see minature-men tolling some small bells. The details are wonderful. Like many of the churches here the inside is rather plain. We discovered in the Nuremburg Museum that the Jewish Quarter was demolished to make way for the square and church.
