Our favorite part of this hotel stay was the breakfast which was very nicely served. I can't recommend the suite (501) because the heat didn't work and the management didn't come up to fix it. However, given the thick duvet covers, we weren't too chilly overnight. Also the wifi didn't seem to connect in spite of rebooting the router. All that is forgiven however, given the proximate location to the Altstadt. We dined just down the street (small authentic German restaurant) following the clerk's recommendation and weren't disappointed. Parking in municipal garage was clean and safe, but couldn't get the card to let us out, though we had paid up in the machine. Happily, a nice parking official opened the gate so we could be on our way...but I wouldn't leave at off hours just in case, since there is no attendant ordinarily. Great city!

Room Tip: If weather is chilly, don't stay in the suite since heat didn't work.

This is a very good hotel. a simple, clean, typical German hotel. Location is the best you can get in Nuremberg - right in the middle of the old city.
Staff is very helpful and patient. if you arrive by car it is suggested to park it in one of the 2 parking lots further down the street - 20 Euro for 24 hours.
(Special tip - the upper floor (roof) of Adler parking lot provides a great view over the city and castle - go there even if you don't have a car).
One unique nice point are the 9 different types of fresh juice the hotel serves at breakfast :-)

Room Tip: We stayed at the junior suite - very specious.

While the hotel was clean and in a good location and a good price it was no value. My husband and I reserved a double room for the 2 of us. I know by European standards that double rooms are small and the size of the room was as expected. However when we got there the bed only had 1 pillow, the bathroom only 1 towel so I had to go down for extra linens. The 1 comforter on the bed did not cover the entire bed. Each morning after they cleaned my room I had to go ask for or find extra towels since we the maid only replaced 1 of the 2 towels used. The free wifi never worked properly on our IOS devices so we were never able to connect.

I was here only for 1 night. LOCATION is perfect! The receptionists, one spoke English, the other one almost nothing of English, so communication was a bit difficult with her. Rooms are clean and nice.

We spent 5 nights here during IWA Outdoor Fair. GREAT location near Ubahn and Lorenzekirche Platz. First given room 105, which had window opening on Josephplatz. Even on a Wed night, drunks hollering until 03:30....pounding on cars, etc. (German national sport, I guess.) Biggest issue was cigarette smoke coming under our door due to smoking area in the hallway next to our room. Next day we moved to 206 which was VAST improvement, no smoking, no noise, window opening into center area above restaurant. Breakfast ok, nothing special. Wireless works in restaurant and bar (choke, choke), but somewhat "iffy" in the rooms. Stefan (either owner or manager) is AWESOME (making dinner reservations, etc), although the evening desk staff was a little balky and didn't have much neighborhood knowledge. Would recommend if you can get away from the street and smoke. Be sure to ask for a room away from all smoking, not just a "non smoking" room.

Room Tip: Away from street, FAR away from any cigarette smoke. If you pick the "allergy free" room, you'll have to go up to 1st floor to check in (lift) then down stairs (no lift) to that room. Just skip it and get a room on floors 2 or 3 toward the back of the hotel.
