Stayed in a family room on 2 separate occasions, one night on the way to Hungary, and one night on the way back.
We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 15 and 11. The rooms are easily the biggest family rooms we've ever had in any hotel anywhere. Very spacious, lots of storage space, and very well maintained. Beds and pillows extremely comfortable, offering probably the best night's sleep I've had in a hotel.
The bathrooms in both rooms were also huge. The first room had an over-bath shower, the second had shower only, both were very modern. One thing I would say is that the bathroom in the second room that we stayed in (207 on the second floor) had a bevelled glass door, and the toilet was immediately inside that door, meaning that whoever was using the facilities could be vaguely seen from the wardrobe vestibule area....!
The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and breakfast was lovely - plenty of choice for everyone, even fussy children!!
There is a relatively small car park at the rear of the hotel for which there is a charge, however on both occasions we were lucky enough to find a spot outside the front of the hotel, which are free.More
