During exhibiton periods room fair are very high. The room was cold and no way heating it up. The price of wifi is too high. No parking, also for short term for leaving luggage. Breakfast is good. Room are big but toilet is very little. The shower cannot contain the water which spread all over the toilet floor. Position near station and the old city center.

Stayed here for 3 nights recently. Very conveniently located near to the main railway station where U-bahn and trams are easily accessible. The hotel provided a free travel pass for the duration of our stay which was very useful. Our room was at the rear of the hotel overlooking the main railway lines but the soundproofing from the windows, if kept closed, was such that noise was hardly noticeable. The staff were courteous and helpful throughout the hotel and when they said they would do something it was done. Our room at first did not have tea making facilities, apparently the case for standard rooms, but they were provided promptly on request. Breakfast was the normal continental buffet of everything one would want, and included hot food also, all with an unlimited supply of coffee or tea. My only complaint is that there is no free wi-fi, with charges starting at 5 euros for one hour. Had we realised that wi-fi is chargeable it would have influenced our selection of hotel.

Room Tip: The rooms to the rear overlook the railway lines which due to the proximity of the main station are busy. Soundproofing of closed windows was good and the rooms are air conditioned. However, a room on the front of the hotel overlooking a not too busy road are likely to be better.

Our room was the smallest I have ever stayed in. Two persons had trouble maneuvering around. It was right next to the train station which would make very convenient for train travelers. Our room overlooked the train yard, but it was mostly commuter trains and did not disturb our sleep. There was a great shower and best of all a 10 minute walk to Old Town. WiFi was available for a fee.

Room Tip: Try to get a room not overlooking the train yard.

Nurnberg is an interesting city and good tourist destination. For visitors, there are many historical and attractive sites. The centrally-located Inter City Hotel is just five minutes walk from the main train station with connections to many other cities. There is a bustling tunnel under the train station which conveniently leads to the old city. This is a major tourist attraction with nice restaurants, elegant stores and a large square which is famous for its Christmas Market and a massive cathedral . Near to the hotel are several museums and theatres worth visiting . Nurnberg is the city known for its unique gingerbread (Lebkuchen) and birthplace of the gifted painter Albrecht Durer. My room was large enough and clean. The inclusive breakfast for us was excellent .

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the rail lines because of frequent trains !

the room was clean and the staff were good. So well positioned for the railway and getting into town. would stay again. price is reasonable too. Nuremberg is a lovely city to visit. The breakfast also had really good tea which is rare outside Britain and there was a lot of choice.
