The hotel was up to date and the staff were very accommodating. It's located a quick walk to the historical center of Nuernberg. The subway is about a 5 minute walk away and the tram is just down the street. The breakfast was good. The wi-fi worked great. My room was clean and quiet. The staff were a big help in getting us to the bus station. A couple blocks away you'll find an Aldi and a Rewe store in case you need anything.

I have stayed too many times at this hotel and every time I enjoy my stay. It is my first choice any time I visit the City. It combines everything (Money, Cleanliness, Service, Location). Keep up the good work.

Does not seem welcoming if you have to ask for your welcome drink voucher, which I did not do. Bad start. Nonetheless the hotel is an old Ibis. Rate is competitive with reasonable wine selection to get over being "snubbed".

The hotel was nice and the interiors were very modern as you would expect from a place like this. It's just 200 meters from 1 of the gates to the old city. It has a comprehensive breakfast and and restaurant open until late.

Lady at the reception was really nice and helpful and helped us get a parking space for our car.

If you're looking for somewhere to stay that is close to the City Walls - this hotel is definitely ideal.

Staff: The staff here are very nice - they're happy to help you with anything at any time. The reception area is always open so you always have service. The bar staff seemed to be very chatty and lovely too.

Location: Absolutely perfect. Great location if you want to be close to the city walls. It is literally a 2 minute walk across the roads to get there. If you want to travel anywhere by tram, the hotel staff will be more than happy to point you in the right direction but the railway station is around a 20-30 minute walk from the hotel. It's not a bad walk but it's far enough if you prefer travelling by car not foot. There aren't many food places near the hotel but they do offer food inside the hotel or there are plenty of places to eat around the old town.

Facilities and Room: The room is very basic - TV, two beds, a desk, a chair and shower room (twin room). Unfortunately no tea or coffee making facilities. You are provided with a hair dryer in the bathroom. One thing I will say about the room is that there are plenty of plugs! Shower gel, towels and glasses are provided for you in the bathroom. House keeping is also provided daily if you wish.

Food: We paid for the buffet breakfast in the morning because again, there wasn't many food/cafes around to eat in. This was definitely a good idea. The buffet breakfast was lovely - we had a variety of meats and cheeses, breads, cereals, eggs, bacon, yoghurts, waffles, juices, tea, lattes, coffee and fruits. There is so much to choose from and it only costs 11€ per day. It's really worth it - as we also made sandwiches from the fresh buns and meat provided for dinner times. They also provide lacto-free butter and milk here too which I was really impressed with as I am lactose intolerant so I also had a lot of options.

A basic room with a small budget, it was nice enough and we enjoyed our stay overall :)
