I have been to Nuremberg more than 5 times both for business and leisure, each time in a a different hotel. I have spent 4 nights in this hotel. It is one of the best hotels in the city, close to everywhere (main station, shops, old city, museums...). Also good for the money. If you are unfamiliar with the german hotel room standards, you may find the rooms a bit small. Definitely highly recommended for location and price.

This is a great hotel, It is very conveniently located across from the main train station, so no taxi is needed to reach it. It is at the beginning of the various pedestrian streets in the old town. You can walk anywhere with ease. There are plenty of restaurants and many very nice stores nearby. The hotel's public areas and breakfast room are very attractive. We had one of the "comfort" level rooms, which is fairly large, has a sofa, an extra chair, coffee table, large desk and a chair, free DSL Internet (not all rooms have Internet access) and a corner bay window. It was a very attractive room. Although there is little traffic in front of the hotel because the pedestria area starts a short distance away, there is lots of pedestrian traffic. On Friday and Saturday nights the noise from the revelers outside goes on until very late at night can be bothersome. You might want to request a room at the back of the hotel, although I don't believe there are any comfort level rooms there. The breakfast buffet, which also includes some hot items, was one of the best I've ever seen. I can't imagine what more could have been added to it. The price was reasonable. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this very interesting and attractive city.

Location is perfect next to the pedestrian walk to the Hauptbahnhof, across the street from the tourist bureau, and next to an area of quaint shops and cafes. The tram across the street will take you around to the north side of town to the Castle. Museums are all in walking distance. Rooms are clean and the staff very helpful. Breakfast is good and well set out. Plenty of room for our family of 3. Major shopping just down the street

The English-speaking staff were cordial and helpful at this lovely hotel located next to the Frauentor Gate in Nurnberg. The breakfast room was beautifully decorated in contemporary fashion and the buffet was expansive. Our room was somewhat small but stylishly decorated. The bathroom was tiled with a tub-shower, well-lit and immaculately clean. Parking in a secure garage is available but is a bit expensive at 11Euro per day. The hotel is just across the street from the bahnhof and the S-bahn. All attractions in the old city are within walking distance.

This is a slightly deceptive hotel that may appear to be on the budget side but in fact is charming, with comfortable though basic rooms and a very nice breakfast room.

We stayed just one night in June 09. The hotel is very conveniently located just across the road from the train station. The city's attractions are a short walk away. The hotel is graded as 3* but it is really bordering on 4*. Our room was clean, nicely furnished in modern style. Although the room faced the front of the hotel with nearby pubs and restaurants, we had no problem with noise. The included European style buffet breakfast was as good as any thing else we had come across.
A very minor gripe is that the wi-fi signal in the room was a bit weak, but at least it was free, unlike a lot of 4* hotels we stayed in that charged ridiculous rates for internet.
Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

An exceptional location directly across the street from the Main Hauptbahnhof. Very historic-looking from the outside but completely moderne inside. By "moderne" I also mean a little bit strangely dated as in an early 1980's feel. The room I reserved was unavailable but the substitute had all the necessary, functional features. I spent just a night here on my way to Coburg.

Unique Qualities: Great location. Walk to all the old city historic sites. A very young-looking Front Desk but very helpful with all travel requests. The best breakfast buffet that I saw on my nearly 2 week trip.
