We went back to the Rally Grounds a third time to take a photos. We looked for a place not very far away for dinner. We ate at the beer garden across the street at the restaurant called the Bahnhof Dutzendteich. It advertised “Gut buergerliche Kueche” or “down-home style cooking”. There was a Speisekarte on the blackboard in front of the restaurant. They served potato dumplings with sliced pork and gravy. They also served Kartoffelsuppe with clear broth, chunks of potatoes, carrots, bits of ham, and celery. It’s Franconian. Kenny had the curry wurst. The service was fast, but some of the other customers kept on giving us the eye as if American tourists weren’t supposed to be here.
