“Told as it was”

A very well presented account of life in Nuremberg during WW2. If that period of history interests you, this is a must - brought quite vividly to life.

“The best museum in Nuremberg”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 31, 2014

An excellently made museum, an abundance of information that is organized in an attractive and non-boring style. The audioguides given are extremely helpful, especially for those who do not speak Germna because the written information in the museum is only on German. That said, the audioguides fully compensate since they give you even additional information that the one written. There are numerous movies that can be seen which describe different parts related to Nazi's history. The information focuses on the rise of Hitler, the policies of his party, the concentration camps, the propaganda, and the architectural buildings that Nazis built or wanted to build. From there you can see from above the Rally Grounds.

The price of the ticket is extremely cheap for what it offers. It will take you at least two hours and if you want to sit and see all the movies that are being presented, your time spent will sufficiently increase.

A definite must for anyone interested in WWII history.

“Well designed and implemented”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2014

The name of this museum can be roughly translated as Nazi History Documentation Center. Most of the displays are in German but admission includes a portable audio guide that is tied to numbers on the floor in front the displays. You key in the appropriate number to the handheld audio machine to hear the description in English or another language. This translation includes the several videos as well as the static displays.

The museum provides a frank description of history of the Nazi movement including the many atrocities that occurred during the war and the trials the occurred after the war.

“Nazi Rally Grounds Nuremburg”

We learned a lot from this museum. The audio guided tour was very informative. Nazi party formation and World War II history reviewed.

Easy to take the city bus to the Rally grounds.

“brilliant”

Do not miss it! The massive structures and spaces are hard to believe. The audio guide is included. That the area is now used for music and recreation is appropriate to go forward after such a horrific chapter.
