“Coffee and simple lunch food”
Reviewed May 22, 2013

We had coffee and filled rolls. Coffee was good, chairs and tables are modern and it was very fresh and clean with nice service at the counter. Fine for a snack.

“Great museum, worth a visit”
Reviewed May 18, 2013

This museum is very easy to get to, just catch the number 9 tram from out front of the main train station. The cost of entry is only €5 so great value for money. It documents Hitlers rise to power and the effect on Germany and the world. The museum is well put together and english headsets are available. Probably the best museum I have been to in Germany so far. It is close to the Zepplin field too which is worth the 10 minute walk from the museum. If you visit Nuremberg then this is a must.

Fascinating museum documenting the rise of the Third Reich. I am by no means a history buff and I'm surprised how moved I was by this museum. I was really intrigued by the way they used different media to present the facts; film clips, pictures, books, actual letters, photos, uniforms; so many artifacts the list is endless. The letters from the Nuremberg trial were particularly interesting. It's very interactive; you could spend an hour here or all day! I could really see how they've tried to capture the attention of younger people, hopefully so this horrible time in history will never be forgotten!

“Balanced view of the time”
Reviewed May 10, 2013

Any other museum tells how terrible Hitler was, but doesn't teach you how he came to power (the full story). This is a very interesting place, and maps the progress made by the 3rd reich, the hows and the whys.

A must visit if in Nurnberg, easily accessed by tram from the HBF.

Doesn't cost very much to visit, and has a handheld audio guide in multiple langauges, describing every section of the tour. You do not have to rush, as the audio starts for each section when you press the button.

You can take a relaxing walk around the lake whilst here, which offers an alternative view of the congress hall.

Very interesting tour, i really learnt a lot.
