“Great place to "Crash" after long flight and train connection.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2013

We flew Toronto to Frankfurt and then grabbed the DB ICE train from Frankfurt to Nuremberg.
Needless to say we were tired arriving in Nuremberg!
The MOTEL ONE is a short walk from the train station and we were warmly welcomed by the front desk staff. Our room was on the small side but more than adequate. It was clean and bright with a modern and a very comfortable bed. Washroom was very clean.
Although we looked out over fifteen sets of railway tracks entering the station, we did not hear a thing from the trains.
The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and fun. They stored our bags in the back room on day two until we were ready to leave.
The breakfast at this hotel (7.5 euros p/p) was great. We would have breakfast here again.
This hotel is an easy walk to the walled city and all of it's restaurants, cafes and pubs, as well as museums, the market and cathedrals.
Would we stay here again? You bet.

Room is small but has all needed facilities. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was decent. Great location: nearby main station and opposite to a city tram stop, walking distance to the central is short.

Note: never trey the Chinese restaurant nearby, it was disgusting.

A simple, clean modernistic hotel/motel. Spartan but that is okay because price and location make the difference. About 4 to 5 blocks from the main train station, close to local transit options and not bad for walking into the alt stadt.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the street and not the rail tracks.

As the hotel chain advers this is the best budget hotel, situated couple minutes walk from the old city center. We got small but clean room with nice decoration. The bed was confortable, and the night was silent despite the room looked to the street. If you are TV fan, you should choose different hotel, cos the TV was very small. The breakfast is nothing special, but you get wide selection of food and coffee and tea for your money. And finally I have to write about the lady at the reception. She was impatient and not helpful unfortunately, which degrade the hotel quality.
By and large the this hotel good chose for short stay.

No luxury, but clean, nice decorated, very good price. The breakfast is also nice, good choices and some typical German food also.
There is no restaurant in the hotel and not a lot of service but for a short business trip where you are busy and have anyway no time to spend in the hotel, it is perfect.
It closed to the station.

The rooms at Motel One are fairly basic but are fine for a short stay. The breakfast is good and there is free wifi, including in the room. I found my room quite cold and so had to ask for another blanket (this is even after I had turned off the air conditioning). Everytime you turn on the light with your hotel key, the TV automatically turns on to a hotel channel with ocean sounds which is quite annoying, but other than that everything is clean and there are no other disturbances. The motel is located on an ugly street, but in just 10 minutes by foot you can reach the commercial centre of Nuremburg.
