We were entertained by colleagues and aside from the main, the meal was the fixed evening dining menu; it didn't disappoint. Starting with an intense carrot soup shot (more of a tumbler than a shot) and carrot salad, followed by a play on cauliflower (puree and pickled with cocoa crumbles...and it worked) which was well flavoured. Moved on to confit of duck which skilfully avoided the usual trap of being dry. The meat was moist, well portioned and the sides did it justice. For pudding, a slighly dressed up fruity delight (combed smear of coulis etc) but it delivered on taste.
Would definitely come again and be confident in any fixed price menu. Service was pretty good too.
