Visited the Sebald for our team dinner at Embedded World so there was 15 of us. We chose from the al a cart menu and even though the restaurant was busy we were served promptly and with a smile. I had the oysters followed by the Iberian Pork cutlet and the lemon tart. washed down with a Sancerre and then a rather nice red. will definitely be heading there next year.

I hosted dinner for a client here, we were five of us in total, and I was very satisfied with both the food and the service. The menu is of international/European cuisine with good choices from salads, to fish and steaks. I had pumpkin soup for a starter which was very tasty, and ribeye steak for main that was cooked to perfection and tasted great. And all my guests seem to enjoy their food too a lot (judging from the empty plates at the end!).There is also a good selection of wines to choose from, and the wines by glass were actually very reasonably priced too. The service was friendly, polite and efficient. Overall it is not a cheap restaurant, but the food quality justifies the higher prices. The setting is like a bistro, simple, maybe a bit too simple considering the high standard of the food.

We were impressed with both the food and service at this restaurant. We had bread with cream cheese and salted butter to start then tomato soup which my husband described as the real deal. He had the chicken with chanterelle mushrooms in cream and thyme sauce and I had the Salmon Trout on lemon risotto with a side of veg to share. A bottle of Pinot grigio and all for 80e. The service was efficient and helpful and although there were several large groups we were looked after throughout our meal.

We went to Sebald for lunch and enjoyed a very good meal including a foie gras appetizer, cesar salad and roast chicken. The food was delicious and the service was very good. I would highly recommend for a good bite to eat in Nuremberg for lunch.
