“The worst local in Munchen”
Reviewed April 25, 2014

We have been to eat to his pub in the last day of trip in Munich.

The place looked nice and was full of students cause is near to some university.

Well....this is only 1 look, because since we enter nothing work.

45 minutes before to order food and 25 to bring us the beer.

We take Schitzel and my friends cordon bleu and i can tell that really this was the worst dish that i even eat in Munich. The fried part was dark, like the used the oil for a month and the meat was without any taste!

The salad was old and not tasty at all. Is absolutely the worst local i have been in Munich.

waiters are smiling, but in idiotic way....you ask them something, they smile and than you do not see them for 10 minutes!

Absolutely bad!

“Good atmosphere, beer & food”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

Good location and not too touristy - mainly students and lecturers. Really good beer and generous portions - had schnitzel and curry wurst - would definitely recommend. Good atmosphere and friendly service.

“Great German food for reasonable price”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

This restaurant is located in the middle of the University quarter (one block from the "University" subway stop), and the price of beer and food is much lower than in other typical German restaurants in the city. The atmosphere is nice, most people seem to affiliated with the university somehow (students and professors). They have big screens, so the place is crowded when Bayern Munich has a game. I have eaten there many times - Last time they had taken my favorite (cheese spaetzle - the German version of Macaroni and cheese) off the menu (thus the 4 rating rather than 5). However, they still have a great variety of other foods; try any kind of Schnitzel and you'll love it!

“Low key pub food in a fun atmosphere”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

Our group of about 6 friends ate here towards the end of our trip. The atmosphere is really laid back and comfortable, mostly because the waitresses are so friendly and welcoming. The menu has standard German bar food and everything we ordered was delicious. The highlight was that the bartender made my friend a special birthday drink with a sparkler - the drink was big enough for the six of us to each have a straw and we still couldn't finish!
