Not sure I would be classifying this hotel as a business hotel. Internet never worked, no mini fridge, no coffee or tea making amenities, 15 minute walk to the train station, $30.00 Euro return by cab to Marienplatz if you want something decent to it.
Access to Messe isn't that convenient as you need to catch the bus which comes every 20 min or spend more money using a cab. Messe in its name is very misleading.
Hotel Tulip INN is where I and my wife stayed for one day in November. The hotel rooms are slightly tight for room space. The breakfast is average and no free wi-fi. The staff service was nice.Close to the city centre.
Ideally situated for the local industrial park and movies theatres this place is clean and functional
Rooms are small but again clean (although on leaving I noticed other stuff under the bed not from me). Sadly no chair in the room to sit at the desk. Instead you get a soft cushioned cube. The chair wouldn’t fit. You also don’t get a kettle or any coffee making facilities.
Breakfast was fine. Eggs good and a good selection of other stuff
My biggest issue is lack of any WiFi. You simply can’t work without it. I think there tv network may also have been WiFi or IP based. As this was sketchy at best too.
But clean, friendly and you get what you pay for.
Oh. And check out line was long as there’s only one person on!
Hotel was ok but the wifi was inconsistent, I was on the first floor facing the front and it kept cutting out, my curtains didn't cover the huge windows in the room bright car park lights didn't make my room feel dark at all when trying to sleep, breakfast was ok, fresh bread rolls at brekky was the highlight of my stay!
The hotel is still new and looking good. A kettle provided with coffee and tea was a pleasant surprise as many such hotels don’t. Basic soap and shampoo only in bathroom. Nothing else is included. Breakfast was satisfactory.
