My wife rated this her favorite restaurant during our almost three-week tour of Bavaria and Austria. Quietly located in a residential neighborhood, this restaurant was walking distance from our B&B Zeevat. Beautiful grounds and interior made this a charming and quiet retreat from busy Munich. The server helped us with the English interpretation of the menu. Our dinner was awesome and the service impeccable. It was interesting to watch the regular local clientele arriving in their traditional Bavarian clothing. The beer and wine selection was excellent. A sunny stroll back to our B&B early in the evening completed an enjoyable break from three days of mist and rain.

Wish I could eat here everyday. Everything was A+ perfect. We had the pork knuckle, the roast beef, the pork chops, the pretzels, the white draft beer, saur kraut, cole slaw, and the big mixed sausage plate. The service was amazing too. Love this place!

Although they did not have an English menu, the woman who sat us came over and went through the menu with us in English. The large outdoor eating area is inviting although it was cold and rainy when we were there, and we had to eat inside. The food was delicious, and my nine-year-old especially enjoyed the kasespaetzle. It was his favorite meal the entire trip.

We found this place at the last minute as most other restaurants around here were all booked solid due to the Electronica Exhibition. Really didn't have much expectation but was pleasantly surprised by the food, drinks, ambiance and the service. Overall very nice dining experience with hearty comfort food in a bier garden.

Very nice and receptive to foreigners.
The meal was the best I ate in Germany.
