Description: No freedom of choice - and that's a good thing. Manuel Reheis offers a wonderful menu every evening at the Broeding. As a gourmet all you have to do is to decide whether you want to go for the five or six course meal. Why not try out the vegetarian menu which is offered the first Wednesday of every month? There is a great selection of wine which comes manly from Austria and is offered from one of the three sommeliers. The dining area has simple white tables, a green tiled bar, wooden furniture, warm lighting and bottles used as decor. In the summer it is possible to dine outside at the leafy courtyard.

The dining experience at Broeding was the pinnacle of my trip to Munich. The food was outstanding and the Austrian wine selection is making find ways to import the vintages to America. Andy, the sommelier, was incredible at explaining the wine and food. He catered wine tastings to your preferences through the meal. This is a must for fine diners who do not mind paying for quality.

Went here on the recommendation of TA, but the location is wrong on the map it's about 300 metres out.
Very nice food & wine, & served very well by English speaking staff.
We took the early discounted 3 course option with one drink each which still came to Eur 98.
If you are a real lover of fine food & not too worried about the price I am sure you will like the pace. But for us it was just a bit too expensive for the price.

This restaurant is by far my wife and my favorite place in all of Europe to dine. The service is exceptional (auf Englisch oder Deutsch), the wine pairings are fantastic and the food is some of the most creative concoctions that one will ever taste. Andy, the sommelier, gives great descriptions of the wine and its heritage prior to enjoying.

Dinner here is an unbelievable experience that is worth every euro.

We went there on the recommendation of a friend and also encouraged by TripAdvisor reviews. However, on booking, I made a mistake - we called a wrong number and somebody confirmed a booking at Broeding(!!!!) except they were from a different restaurant. So we arrived in one of the finest restaurants in Munich, thinking we have a reservation, but in fact without one. The way they dealt with this was amazing - they were kind, but firmly got to the bottom of it. When it became clear that we had not, in fact, reserved with them, they went to extraordinary length to still make us feel excellent. They found a table for us (inside, as all tables outside were booked by people that had made proper reservations) and they then treated us extremely well to compensate for not being able to give us the desired location (again, because of us!).

Anyway, amazing service and kindness gets you a long way, but this is a restaurant, so how was the food and how was the wine? Well, nothing short of excellent and truly memorable. We have had the great fortune to eat in quite a few of the top restaurants in Europe and Broeding sits comfortably in that company.

The food was inventive, original, with links to the local tradition and culinary culture and nothing short of excellent. There is a set menu of 5-6 courses, but we won't describe them as they change daily. Suffice it to say, that they were all delicious!

The wine (and beer) served with the food were exquisite. The pairings were bold and original and, very importantly, the sommelier took ample time to tell us interesting things and great anecdotes about the wine. We love wine and we discovered a few trully excellent white wines (mainly from Austria) on this occasion.

This is not a cheap place, but the quality of the experience is excellent. Just as a comparison, we also ate at Acquarello, a Michelin starred restaurant in Munich and the price was double for a a much less tasty and memorable meal.

I could go on and on about this place. We loved it and we will be back whenever again in Munich. Hopefully we manage to get the right number this time.

I am over excited with this restaurant.! The food menu, changes daily, and the meal i ordered is one of the best meals i had in my life. My starter was raw fish, my main course a very tender lamp with sweet smashed potatoes, and finally my cheesecake the best combination of sweet and bitter.! Totally loved it.
